“On May 24th. 2010 at around 6-6:30 p.m my sister and I were returning home from picking up some food, we came upon a intersection and we had a green light and went thru, a vehicle ran a red light and T-boned us in the passenger side and flipped us over on the drivers side (I was the driver). Once the vehicle came to a full stop ONSTAR was there, it was hectic but I did manage to tell the operator we needed help, the operator told us exactly where we were and that help was on the way and in no time at all we heard sirens. My sister was taken out through the windshield but I was trapped under the steering wheel and couldn’t be removed the same way so they had to cut the vehicle away to be able to get me out. we both were transported by ambulance to our local hospital to be treated for our injuries but later released. Thank you ONSTAR and I won’t ever own a vehicle that doesn’t have ONSTAR”

“We have a summer camp located about 10 miles from the paved highway in the upper peninsula of Michigan, access is on logging roads. Traveling fast on the logging roads is not possible . There is no cellular or land phone service available. Using OnStar I was able to get in contact with 911. An ambulance was dispatched and met us on the way to the hospital. This timely meeting allowed them to administer treatment to my wife and as a result she suffered no lasting damage from the stroke. OnStar helped save her life and her mental state. She fully recovered from the stroke. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! Your operator remained on the line and added advice until we reached help. I purchased a new car this week and the first consideration was that it had to have OnStar.”
