“I have owned vehicles with an Onstar active service since 2000. It really gives me peace of mind since I am usually alone when driving my vehicle either locally or on trips. Thankfully, I have only had one occasion to use Onstar and that was to allow my homesick nephew to call his Mother from a campground that we were in. I could not get a cell signal but I could get an OnStar signal. He felt much better after having a brief conversation with his Mother. I have been unemployed for a little over a year but I have decided to continue my Onstar subscription for as long as I can because of the invaluable service and peace of mind that it provides.”
