“So, the other morning my husband, Dave wakes up early and decides to go and get doughnuts. Our 10 pound Bichon, Sweetie Pie starts barking, so in order to keep the peace and to keep me and our two daughters asleep he decides to take the dog with him.
He runs into the gas station and leaves the car running with Sweetie Pie in it. He comes back out, hops in the car and drives down the road to the doughnut shop. He decides to leave the car running and let Sweetie Pie stay in the car. He goes into the doughnut shop orders breakfast and then comes back outside.
He walks up to the car that now has a yapping dog in it and goes to open the door and it’s locked! Yes, the 10 pound yapping dog has locked herself into a running car! Thinking quickly he borrows a cell phone (his is in the car) from another doughnut patron. He calls On Star, thinking they can unlock his doors. So, he explains the situation… ”So, I’m at the dough nut store and I left my little dog in the car while it was running, and while she was jumping on the door panel to make an escape she some how locked herself in the car!”…. Dave said, “Oh, never mind. She just rolled down the window!” Smart dog? Or did she really just want a chocolate covered doughnut with sprinkles?”
