Terrance Farrell’s Story
“My daughter borrowed my H2 with OnStar enabled. She was gone from my home for over 7 hours for a medical appointment. I had calculated she would be home in 2-3 hours. I began to worry when her cell phone immediately rolled to Voice Mail and I could not reach her in the vehicle. She is a traumatic brain injury sufferer and her decision making skills are not as good as yours or mine. So, she went shopping and didn’t tell me!

A wonderful OnStar rep by the name of GATHA listened to my situation and said because of the circumstances she would place a call to the vehicle where she would control the conversation without the driver having to punch the OnStar button. GATHA created a three way conversation with my daughter and me. I was very relieved to learn my child was alright and headed home.
Thank you, GATHA and OnStar for your help, so an old man could stop worrying. My fault because I never showed her how to use OnStar…now she does.
